Passed peacefully away on December 25th, 2018, Carmel King (nee Rice). Predeceased by her beloved son Mark (1996); parents John and Lucy Rice; sister Rosemary; and brothers John and Tom. Leaving to mourn her husband Michael; sisters-in-law: Agatha King, Betty Ann Rahal (John), Elsie Rice and Mary Rice; nephews: Robert Rice (Trudy), Greg Rice, John Clarke (Kim), Wayne Rice (Mary) and their families; niece Cathy Power and family; and a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Robert Woodland for his care over the many years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, December 28th, 2018 from 2 – 5 p.m and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 at 11:30 a.m from Caul’s Chapel, with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmel’s memory may be made to the Peter Gzowski Foundation for Literacy or to a charity of one’s choice.
