Pat Walker, 89, formally of Alder Point died peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie ON on Dec 30 following a short illness.
Born in Alder Point he was the youngest son of Daniel and Euphemia Walker.
He left home at an early age and enjoyed working on the laker boats as a deck hand for many years before settling in Ontario working for CCM then Handy and Harmon Co until he retired. He happily shared a home with his wife Mildred at Sandy Cove Acres in Innisfil and was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Barrie.
Pat is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who remember his love of music, baseball and golf.
He was predeceased by his wife Mildred, sisters Leona Merritt, Mary (Art)MacNeil, Rita Walker, Theresa (Lally)MacDonald and brothers Justin (Buddy), Larry, Alex, Bernie and Dawson.
Burial and service will be performed in the spring
