Passed peacefully away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Warren (nee Dowden) of Carbonear; formerly of St. John’s, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: George; parents: Chesley and Annie Dowden; sisters: Margaret and Patricia. Leaving to mourn daughter: Gale (Cory) Giles, St. John's; son: Chesley (Karen), Paradise; two grandchildren: Addyson and Joshua; sister: Ruth Kenny, Halifax, NS; brother: Chesley Dowden, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Susan 'Susie' Smith, New Perlican and Joan Warren, St. John's; brother-in-law: James, Gander also a large number of other relatives and friends.
