It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Courtney Sarah Abraham. God has called her home on January 16, 2019.
Courtney was born on May 2,1990 and grew up in Sydney. She was the daughter of the late Scott Abraham and Tanya Abraham (Pat).
Courtney was a shy little tomboy with a unique sense of fashion (rubber boots, party dress and baseball hat) A little girl who could skate before she could walk because of her father’s endless encouragement and love, with many hours spent on the pond behind her grandparents’ home. Summer days consisted of swimming and collecting treasures on the beach. Her true passion was discovered on the soccer field, this was fostered by her best friend and mamma bear. Her talent, confidence, and determination allowed her to rise to the elite levels.
Courtney had an innate ability to display compassion towards others, this led to her choice of a career as a CCA. She was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly, she had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Courtney had so much goodness and compassion for others. Children and animals would flock to her caring nature and could feel her tenderness and warmth which are a true testament of her kind and gentle heart.
When you think of Courtney, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember life is short and fragile and should be lived to the fullest.
