It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late David Weston Flight announce his sudden passing at the Western memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 at the age 57 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his mother Edna Flight; brothers: Gordon (Sylvia), Graham, Oliver, and Cyril Jr.; sisters: Phyllis, Myra and Ellen; including a number of nieces and nephews: Michelle (Ken), Sylvia, Jenna, Dennis (Amy), Steven, Brian, Herbie Jr., Justin, Tyson, and Joshua; great nieces and nephews: Mackenzie, Madison, Faith, Colton and Connor; and also a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He had a special Aunt Olive King and two special cousins: Shirley and Jean. David was predeceased by his father Cyril Flight; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and brother-in-law Richard. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook, NL on Friday, January 25, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 am with Pastor Soper Officiating. Interment to follow at the Howley Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations to Edna Flight.
