It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Yvonne Anne Reynolds announce her passing on Monday, February 4, 2019, at the age of 64.
Born in North Sydney on December 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Gladys (MacDonald) Farrell. Mom shared a special bond with her twin sister, Caroline.
Yvonne is survived by her loving husband, Jim; daughter, Beth (Terry) Pearcey; son, Jimmy (Melva), and daughter, Denise (Peter) Northen. She was a loving grandmother to Jillian, Keigan, Owen, Madelyn and Emily. She is also survived by siblings, Tommy, Eddie (Gail), Mary, Jean (Donnie), Laura (Randy), and Lena; brother-in-law, Mike; sisters-in-law, Cecelia (Butch) Kendell, Mary (Charlie) Stewart, Ann (David) Warren; and many special nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her sister, Maggie; father and mother-in-law, Eldridge and Viola Reynolds; sister-in-law, Christine; and brother-in-law, John.
Visitation for Yvonne Reynolds will take place at J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr., James Oliver officiating. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com.
