(1929 – 2019)
Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the Caribou Veterans Memorial Pavilion, just 2 months short of his 90th birthday, James Joshua Peddle, formerly of Corner Brook. James was a Korean War Veteran and retired employee of CN Dockyard. He is predeceased by his parents, Joshua and Mary Peddle; his wife, Nellie Sparrow; and daughter, Lauren. Also predeceased by sisters, Theresa and Rita, and brother Joe. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Brenda (Rich), Janet (Paul), Dianne, Moya (Rick), Barbara and Norma (Brian); sons: Bruce (Jackie), Mark (Anna) and Blair (Joanna); sisters: Mary (Bill Hogan), and Laura Hooghuis; also loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members and friends. Our family would like to thank staff and volunteers at the Veteran’s Memorial Pavilion for their compassion, kindness, and support. At Dad’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, a donation can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
