Carrie C. Walsh
June 5th, 1933 ~ February 10th, 2019


It is with broken hearts that the family of the late CARRIE WALSH of Marystown announces her passing. Carrie passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on February 10th, 2019 at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts are; son, Howard Walsh Jr. (Jackie) of Marystown; daughters, Juliette Farrell (Peter) of Marystown, Bernice Baker (John) of Mooring Cove, Nora Gaulton (Kevin) of Mooring Cove and Diane Dunphy (Shane) of Mooring Cove; daughter-in-law Brenda Walsh of Marystown; 12 grandchildren, Lori Ann Kennedy, Kurt Walsh, Tara Dawn Planke, Norma Applyby, Andrew Walsh, Amie Guerrette, Felicia Walsh, Jennifer Walsh, Jonathan Walsh, Renee Dunphy, Shayne Dunphy and Ryan Dunphy; 10 great-grandchildren, Josh & Julie Kennedy, Mason & Peyton Walsh, Reilly & Rohan Planke, Regan Walsh, Brynn & Liv Tooktoshina, & Cohen Walsh; brothers, Albert Anstey (Patsy) of St. John’s, Ben Anstey (Katrina Stack) of St. John’s, Jack Anstey of Marystown ; sisters, Harriet Mahon of St. John’s, Celeste Mitchell (Edward) of Marystown; sister-in-law, Tryphina Anstey; special pets, Jaxon & Sasha plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Carrie was predeceased by her husband Howard, her parents Albert & Mary Anstey, son Norman, sisters Margaret Yetman, Kathleen Grenning; brothers Norman Myles and Peter Anstey; sisters-in-law Louise Myles and Geanette Anstey; brothers-in-law Bernard Yetman, Jack Grenning & Leo Mahon.

Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Wednesday, February 13th.
Cremation followed
