Entered into eternal life at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on February 12, 2019, Sister Barbara Kenny, age 74 years. Predeceased by her father, Arthur, and brother-in-law, Terry. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy, her beloved mother, Frances, sisters, Rose (Merv), Joan (Jim), Jennifer (Brock), Regina (Gene), Katie (Cliff), Bernadette, Bernice (William), brothers, Arthur (Allison), Tony (Gabriella), and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s, Saturday, February 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, February 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 18 at 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road, with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
