Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019, at the L.A. Miller Centre, William (Buck) Benson, age 86 years. Predeceased by his parents, William & Rose Benson: sisters, Joan Bishop, Helen Norman and Shirley Bussey: and other members of the Benson and Aspell families. Left to mourn with so many happy memories are his loving wife and best friend, Mary (Aspell): son, Bill: sisters, June Bartlett and Alice McCann: sister-in-law, MaDonna (Donnie) Wheeler: brother-in-law, Doug Aspell. Also mourning his loss are numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Sincere gratitude is extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, for their compassionate care and support. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Monday, February 25, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Caul’s Chapel on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
