It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine (Kay) Andres, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on February 21, 2019 in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. Kay will be forever remembered by her children Bevin and Barry (Ruth), grandchildren Ryan (Angie) and Caitlyn (Mark), sisters Linda (Arnold) and Lillian (John), as well as sister-in-law Elma (Rupert) and brother-in-law Eugene, along with her nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Orville (2018), son Brian (1978) and her parents, Frank and Margaret. Kay spent many years in Prince Albert with her family where she was involved in the life of the church and it is here that she met many of her dear friends. Kay loved nature and enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and friends. She treasured and kept close contact with her grandchildren Caitlyn and Ryan. A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Mennonite Church in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
