The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, of Hazel Anderson (nee Bulman), wife of the late Danny Anderson, of Burnside Community Care Home and formerly of New Glasgow, aged 88. She was the loving mother of Fred Anderson (Eleanor), Margaret Sellar (Charles) and June Anderson (Leonard deceased); grandmother of Aaron Anderson, Katie Verhulst, Scott Anderson, Karla Toole, Derek Sellar and Kane McKinnon; and great-grandmother to 7. Hazel is also survived by her sister, Mildred Stevenson of Claresholme, Alberta; and sister-in-law, Jean Bulman. Besides her husband Danny, she was predeceased by her parents, Earnest and Sarah (Coles) Bulman; and siblings, Elmer Bulman (Ruth), John Bulman (Jean), Fred Bulman, Exton Bulman and Ruth MacPherson (Daniel). Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 New Glasgow Road, New Glasgow. Family visitation only on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 7-8 p.m. Funeral will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in New Glasgow Cemetery.
