Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s at St. Luke’s Home on Monday, March 4, 2019, Mary McCormack, age 79 years. Predeceased by her spouse James Sr. (2002), son James Jr. (1997), parents John and Gertrude, granddaughter Colleen, great-grandson Grayson (2017), brothers Jack, Gordon and Ronnie, and brothers-in-law Cyril Power and Steve MacNeil. Leaving to mourn her children: Trudy Cull (Shawn), Bill (Tish), Sue-Anne McCormack (Claude), Kelly (Paul) and Danielle (Jason); siblings: Betty Power, Maureen Mallard (Frank), Charlie (Jeannie), Tom (Anita), Geraldine O’Rourke (Danny), Gerry MacNeil, Patricia Holden and Alfie (Nancy); sisters-in-law Margie, Eileen, Lillian and Sue Anne; grandchildren: Mark, Crystal, Paul, Sasha, Ashley, Kelly, Hayleigh, Nicole, Ireland, Hunter, Sophia and Taylor; great-grandchildren: Rebecca, Jonathon, Cheyenne, Brooke, Michael, Madison, Dominick, Casey, Peyton, Cameron, Hannah, Joel, Kendra, Kyleigh, Olivia and Stella. Special thanks are extended to the PVT unit of St. Luke’s Nursing Home and the amazing staff, especially Renee Lear who adopted her as her own “Nanny” and the extra special care provided by her daughter Danielle. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Homes.
