Sadly we inform you that our loving father, grandfather, and brother, Glendon Harvey Pulley of Bear River, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre at the age of 67. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late Harvey and Constance (Franklin) Pulley. Glen was an alumni of Mount Allison University, St. Francis Xavier University, and Acadia University. He was a dedicated teacher in the Annapolis Valley for over thirty years. He was a former President of the Annapolis Local with the Nova Scotia Teachers Union. Glen enjoyed traveling, forestry, being outdoors and keeping busy. He had a passion for hockey, genealogy and history. He was very active and liked to bicycle and skate. In retirement he was a member of the Royal Consort Community Choir. Glen loved his children and grandchildren; he was a wonderful grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family; daughters, Sacha (Scott) Millar, Felecia (Michael) Outhouse, Mila (Kyle) Anderson; son, Tyler (Jessica) Pulley; grandchildren, Graham, Ian, Victoria, Eric, Michael, Emme, Evan, Boone, Avi, Owen; siblings, Duetta (Ronald) Comeau, Boneta (Paul) Gilbert; Rickey (Wanda) Pulley; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (902-245-2525) with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Smith’s Cove Baptist Church, Rev. Edwin Allen presided. A private burial at Mount Hope Cemetery in Bear River will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Program at the Annapolis Community Health Centre.
