It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and brother on March 7, 2019
Born, May 21, 1960, in Trepassey NFLD, he was the son of the late Wilson and Ita Ryan, and the chosen son of the late Patrick and Josephine Sutton.
Barry spent most of his life on the water for work and pleasure, he enjoyed hockey especially the Montreal Canadiens, most of all he loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughters.
Barry is survived by his daughter, Cassandra; grandchildren, Natalie and Bailey; brothers, Leo (Joan), Fabian (Regina), Kenneth (Margie), Max (Jo-ann), Vince (Carol); sisters, Mary (Jim) Pennell, Evelyn (Jim) Corcoran, Patricia (Ted) Bassett, Trudy (Ernie) Kennedy, as well as many nieces & nephews, a wide circle of friends and the mother of his daughter, Mary MacLellan.
Besides his parents Barry was predeceased by his brothers, Donald, Allan, & Gerard, as well as his sister, Dora.
A funeral service will take place at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, on Tuesday March 12 at 2 p.m., with Fr. Bill Burke presiding.
