Passed away at the Colchester East Hants Hospital in Truro on March 5 at the age of 88 years. Left to mourn are her children Velva (Peter), Morgan, Dennis (Linda), Pam (Abe), Carmon, Christopher (Debbie), her siblings Wallace (Mildred), Myrna, Marjorie (Steve), Olive, Wade (Deb) and her fifteen grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Rose Shears and her daughter Myrna. Cremation has taken place as per her instructions. There will be a memorial in her honor held at a later date.
