Passed away at HSC on March 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family, Raymond Whalen in his 82 year. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth Whalen, brothers Bill, Mike, Martin, Kevin, sisters Angela and Christine, and granddaughter Darlene Boudreau, father and mother-in-law Arthur and Nelly Richards. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife of 61 years Florence (Richards), his seven children Eileen, Linda Curnew (Wayne), Connie Cole (Tommy), Jeanette (Eric), Raymond Jr., Terry (Brenda), Lisa Quirion (Mike), his sister Mary, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces, nephews family and friends. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Thursday, March 21 from 1-9 and Friday, March 22 from 12-9. Funeral service to take place at St. Michaels Parish, Bell Island Saturday March 23 at 2 pm. Reception to follow at St. Michaels Parish Hall.
