Pauline Mary Hogan

Pauline Hogan, age 72 of Glace Bay and formerly of New Waterford, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the CBRH, Sydney. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Jessie (Robertson) Pettigrew.
Pauline was a member of the Salvation Army. She enjoyed playing darts and was known to have a great sense of humour. She also loved animals, especially dogs and cats. But mostly, Pauline will be remembered as a compassionate woman who loved taking care of people.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyann Hogan and Geraldine (Gary Kurtenacker); granddaughter, Jennifer Hogan; grandson, Brandon Hogan (Marissa); four great-grandchildren, Leora, Courtney, Marshall Hogan and Ella Fletcher.
Pauline was predeceased by her partner, Joe MacIsaac, and several brothers and sisters.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation only on Thursday evening, March 28 from 7-9 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
