Peacefully at the Prince Edward Home, on Thursday, March 21, 2019, the death occurred of Joe O'Connor, of Charlottetown, age 84 years. Beloved husband of Elaine O'Connor (nee Peters). Loving father of Debbie (Bill Hart), Paul, Cathy Andrews (Roger), June Arsenault (Carl), Donna O'Connor, Bryan, Shane (Stacey) and step-children - Lori Garrity (Tim) and Chris Doyle (Crystal). Joe will be missed by his brother - David O'Connor (Marlene); Niece - Maureen O'Connor; and numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife - Paula O'Connor; parents - Bryan and Laura (nee Brown) O'Connor, brothers - Wendell, Jack and Melvin (in infancy) and sister - Sharon Gallant. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Community Baptist Church, 162 Sherwood Road, Charlottetown, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held later at Sherwood Cemetery.
