Emilie Anne Landry
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Emilie Anne Landry, age 79 of Sydney Forks, on Monday, March 25, 2019, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Poulmond, Richmond County, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Marcelline (Bonin) Landry.
She was a member of St. Mary’s parish, East Bay. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved finding a great deal shopping. Emilie was known for her elegant style and bold personality.
She was the last member of her immediate family and is survived by her niece, Barbara (Blair); nephews, Allan (Anne), Abie; grandnieces, Christa, Jessica, Lindsey; grandnephews, Cyril, Michael and great-grandnieces, Mya and Lily.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Cecila.
Funeral Mass for Emilie Landry will be celebrated on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, East Bay with Fr. Everett McDow officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Donations may be made to the AnCala Palliative Care at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
