Passed peacefully away on March 28 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her father Cyril Garland Sr., brothers: Cyril Garland Jr., Robert “Fox” Garland, and Harold Garland. Leaving behind with cherished memories daughters: Debbie (Ron Conway) and Anne (Doug Meltz); son Keith (Gale); grandchildren: Kimberley, Meghan, Kelly, Andrew, Curren, Rachel and Michelle; great-grandson Alexander, and two bundles of joy on the way; sisters: Louise and Marjorie (Ed Baker) and their families; special family friend and neighbour Marie Pretty. Also, special thank you to neighbours Linda and Mike. A service to celebrate Barbara June’s life will take place on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at 2pm from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
