Annie Elizabeth (Sister) Greer

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Annie Elizabeth (Sister) Greer on March 28, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with loving family at her side.
Mom was a very loving and caring person. She was an avid reader and had a great love for NASS car racing “#24”. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge Port Morien and St. John’s United Church.
Mom is survived by son, Darrell (Ellen); granddaughter, Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Mia and Logan; sister, Gladys and brother, Art.
She was predeceased by husband Rufus, grandson Dale and brothers Everett, Clifford “Kip”, Mark and Billy.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home Glace Bay.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Biggar officiating.
I would like to thank all the VON and homecare workers who provided such wonderful comfort, support and companionship to my Mom. “You know who you are!”.
