Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, April 1, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at age 70. Predeceased by her parents Frank & Dorothy Oliver; sister Maureen Oliver; and brother David Oliver (Ruby). Left with fond and loving memories her husband Charlie; daughters: Elaine Lewis (Jason Fagan), and Robyn Lewis (Jonathan Miller); 2 grandchildren the light of her life: Noah and Colin Fagan; brother Brian Oliver (Pat); sister Jeanne Gosse (Ian); special friend Laura Parsons; also, a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bernice was known for her kindness and compassionate nature. Visitation will be at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.. Memorial service to be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, April 4th, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
