The death occurred at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 of Garnet Ellwood Robbins of Stratford, age 83 years, husband of the late Joyce Robbins (nee Murnaghan). Brother of Allison (Annie) and Wendy O'Neal (Urban). Also survived by sisters-in-law Renie Webster (Garth) and Patricia Kelly (Raymond) as well as brothers-in-law Billy Roy Murnaghan and David Campbell. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Garfield (Shirley) and Hally as well as his sister-in-law Eileen McCabe. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 10 am. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
