Hodder, Mary Margaret, 95, wife of late Theophilus (Ted) Hodder passed away April 4, 2019 at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s, NL. Born November 13, 1923 in St. John’s, Mary was the daughter of William Sulley and Anne (Penney) Sulley. Predeceased by sisters Gladys (Jim) Reese, Elizabeth (Dolph) Meadus, Anne (Jack) Squires, Theresa (Jack) Walsh, and brothers, Leonard, Jack, Jim (Vina), Mike (Kay), Bill (Mary). Leaving to mourn her children Bill (Bridget) of Halifax, Mary “Cis” Russell (Gary) of Fort Collins, Colo., Lorraine Wagner (Predeceased by husband Barry) of Eaton, PA, Bob (Veronica) of Courtenay, BC. Sisters Maureen Robinson (Jack); brothers Harold (Patricia), Gerald (Carm), grandchildren Craig, Paul, Brooke, Brian, Michael, and six great-grandchildren. Also, a very special family friend Wayne Lacey, and heartfelt gratitude to sister-in-law Kay Sulley and Margie O’Brien. A sad farewell from a large circle of extended family and friends who cherished her and will miss her loving heart. The family wishes to extend thanks to staff at the Health Sciences Hospital and Glenbrook Lodge. Cremation has taken place at Mary’s request. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 12 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa’s Church on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. with inurnment next to her husband Ted (would have been his 100th birthday) at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made her memory to a charity of your choice.
