It is with great sadness that the family of the late Coyley (Pop) Payne announce his sudden passing on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 62. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Olive, sisters and brothers: Elizabeth (Charlie), Clarence (Neila), Dan (Jean), Cliff, Cavell, Allen (Donna), Owen (Donna), Wade, Angus (Joanne), Margaret (James); aunts: Harriet, Beulah, Susie; as well a large number aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Wilson; brothers: Donald, Roderick, Eldon; sister Florence; sisters-in-law: Juanita and Margaret. Friends may visit the St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church in Trout River on Friday, April 5th from 7-9 pm and Saturday, April 6th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 7th at 2 pm with The Rev. Francis Elgar officiating with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Trout River. A special thank you to Drs. Bubtana and Dunn along with the staff of 3A Medicine (WMRH) for your kindness and compassion shown to Coyley during his illness, words alone cannot express how truly grateful we are.
