Nan MacNeil

Nan, age 80, passed away in hospital early Sunday, March 31.
Nan was born and raised in Big Glace Bay. She married George MacNeil and moved to Glace Bay until her retirement from the Glace Bay General Hospital. She and George retired to Mira and on his passing in 2017 she moved to Halifax.
She is survived by her two sons, Tom (Donna) and Sandy (Margaret) and four grandchildren, Mitch, Alexis, George and Mabel. She is also survived by her sisters, Gwen Clarke, Georgie Somers and Annie MacQueen, nieces and nephews.
Nan was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Jamesina Murrant as well as brother, Gilbert Murrant and sisters, Olive Nearing and Mary Snow.
There will be a memorial held this summer in Cape Breton.
