RICHARD ‘MAX’ KETTLE

It is with heavy heart that we the family announce the passing of Richard “Max” at the age of 64 in New Waterford Heights Health Care with his loving family by his side. Max was born in Port aux Basques, son of Annie (Carter) and Martin Kettle. He resided in Sydney, NS with his sister Natasha and family since1996. He leaves to mourn with many fond memories, Natasha and Timothy Romeo, niece Chelsea, nephews Tyler, Thomas; sisters Ethel and Paul Blinkhorn, AB, Nancy and Harold Blackmore, Deb and Brian Carter, Calvin Kettle, all of Newfoundland; brother Bronson and Harriet , BC as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews and many friends .Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by brothers Jim, sister-in-law Mylida, Albert, sister-in-law Diane, Thomas, Ralph and Brian. As per Max’s wishes cremation has taken place and he will be put to rest in Port aux Basque, NL at a later date. A special thank you to New Waterford Heights for their exemplary care and compassion, also a thank you to McLellan Brothers Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism A limb has fallen from the family tree, I keep hearing a voice that says “grieve not for me”. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions no matter
how small. Go on with your life don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly so keep up your chin. until the day comes we’re together again. “Author unknown’
