Born in Montreal, April 13, 1926, Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Betty, and her husband, Mickey, spent most of their married life, living happily in retirement on a beautiful river front property, located in Repentigny, QC.
Betty was predeceased by her husband (2002), Francis Wilmont Baxendale (82), a World War II navy veteran and formerly of Sydney Mines, NS; and, sisters-in-law, Beryl (Peter) Jobe, Iris (Daniel) McGeown, and Vilma Baxendale.
Betty is now survived by many nieces and nephews on her husband's side of the marriage.
Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or a memorial service. A private interment will be held at a later date.
