John Hutchison

It is with great sadness that the family of John Hutchison Jr. announce his passing at home on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at the age of 64.
John was a native of New Waterford. He was a coal miner and later military 911 dispatcher before retirement.
John will be lovingly remembered by his children, Melanie and John ‘JJ’, and grandson, Ethan. John will also be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his siblings, Ken, Mary, Lloyd, Iris (Robert), Heather (Chuck), Margaret (Ron), Dolores, Kim and James (Colleen), and his nieces and nephews.
John's children would like to send a special thanks to his nephew, James Heffernan.
John was predeceased by his wife, Judy Hutchison (Mathieu), and parents, John Hutchison Sr. and Evelyn Hutchison (Gillis).
A visitation in memory of John will be held on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Family welcomes people to drop over to Delores Home at 3383 MacLeod Ave. Apt 10 after the visitation for a luncheon to celebrate his life.
