The death occurred peacefully at the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Sunday April 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family of Auldine Wedge of Miminegash aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Emmett Wedge. Born in Miminegash on October 30, 1927, she is the last family member of the late Charlie and Charlotte (Gallant) Thibodeau. Dear mother of Phyllis Murphy (late Raymond), Miminegash, Sharon Handrahan (Bernard), Christopher Cross, Gerard Wedge (Emily), Nail Pond. Loving grandmother to Carol Gallant, Stephen Murphy, Mark Handrahan, Matthew Handrahan and great grandmother to Kassidy & Dylan Gallant, Lake Murphy, Charlie & Eli Handrahan. She was predeceased by parents Charlie and Charlotte, husband Emmett, brothers Wilfred, Henry, sisters Rita, Mary and Aggie Maude. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road. NO VISITING HOURS AS A PERSONAL REQUEST. Funeral will be held Wednesday April 24, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital would be greatly appreciated. After the funeral, a reception will be held at the Palmer Road Community Centre.
