John Desveaux
After a long life well lived John Desveaux passed away at the Leacock Centre on Sunday April 21, 2019 in his 92nd year surrounded by his family.
Survived by his best friend and beloved wife, Mary for nearly 66 years. Much loved father of Gerald Desveaux and his wife Laura of Whitby, Robert Desveaux and his wife Michele of Whitby, Susan Vandermulen and her husband Emil of Washago, Karen Desveaux and her partner Barry Stone of Whitby and Michael Desveaux and his wife Lynne of Oshawa. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Amanda, Logan, Allison, Haydon, Clayton, Devon and Sydney. Great-grandfather of Cohen. Dear brother of Marshall Desveaux and Marjorie Mason.
Predeceased by his brothers, Ted, Gord, Willy, Gerald and sisters, Vange and Katherine.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Sunday April 28th from 1 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life service in the Barnes Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
