Helen Cairns Millar of Kelvin Grove, daughter of the late Georgie and Scott Cairns, beloved wife of Vernon Millar for 67+ years, passed away at Prince County Hospital April 25, 2019. Mother of Marilyn (Dennis) Gabriel, Catherine Millar, Shirley (David) MacLean, Wendy Millar (Dave) and Betty Jean Millar (Harvey). Grandmother of Jeff (Roxanna) Gabriel and Rev. Dr. Andrew (Krista) Gabriel. Great grandmother of Adelyn, Mylah and Rayelle Gabriel. Sister of William (late Helen) Cairns, late Winnifred (Rev. Dr. William McDowell), Georgina (Doug) Ferguson, Louise (Don) McConaghy, Amy (Late Peter) Borys. Sister-in-law of the late Erving (late June) Millar (friend Ella Simmons), late Edgar (Betty) Millar, Marion (late Bruce) Profitt, late Gerald (Marion) Millar and Astrid (late Edwin) Johnson (Windsor Arsenault). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 4-6:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday at the Kensington United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the North Bedeque Cemetery.
