Peacefully with her daughter by her side at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Monday, April 29, 2019, of Marlene Elizabeth McIvor of Charlottetown, age 83 years. Beloved wife of Desmond McIvor and loving mother of Bethany McIvor and Michael McIvor. Marlene will be missed by her sisters - Frances DaRe and Heather Eddington and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Allan and sisters - Catherine "Cassie" Joseph and Mary "Mickie" Dunn. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford with funeral service on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home, followed by a reception. There will be no visitation by personal request. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to McGill Center would be appreciated. Interment later in Kinkora Cemetery.
