Ira Flaglor
The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on May 3, 2019 of Ira Flaglor of Peters Road. Age 85. Loving father of Cindy (David), Darryl (Nancy), Denise (Jeff), Gail and Terry. Remembered by grandchildren Francis (Bonnie), Courtney (L.J.), Catlin, Alex, Robin (Patrick), Ryan (Stephanie) Cathleen (Dave), Ricky (Megan), Tiffany (Jeremy), Terry, Jesse (Jasmine), Brett, Michael (Ann) and Chelsea (Tommy); numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Survived by sisters Marie and Gladys (Freeman), brother Jimmy (Liz) and close friend, Junior MacSwain. Predeceased by wife, Ethel; parents Tom & Jennie (Little) Flaglor; siblings Helen, Millie & Tommy. Cremation to take place. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 19 at the Cambridge Hall from 3-6pm. Donations may be made in Ira’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
