Matthew Kyle MacGillivary
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Matthew Kyle MacGillivary on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at home.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Kelly MacGillivary and Georgie MacCormick.
He enjoyed fishing with his poppies and he was a huge sports fanatic watching and playing every sport known to man.
Matt is survived by his parents, Kelly and Georgie; brother, Darren MacGillivary; special niece, Charley; grandparents, Deborah MacGillivary and Georgie and Geraldine Deveaux; his childhood best friends, Jeff, Mitch and Gary, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Matt was predeceased by his poppy and best bud, Jimmy MacGillivary.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 12-2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199).
The family would like to thank the family and friends who gave all their love and support during this time.
