The death occurred of Mary C. Wakelin, (nee MacPherson) of Arlington, Mass., formerly of PEI, on April 30th, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Earl R. Wakelin. Loving mother of Dawn Wakelin of Belmont, Mass. and Ronnie Wakelin of West Newbury, Mass. Devoted grandmother of Kelsey Wakelin of Belmont, Mass., Devin and Maria Wakelin of West Newbury, Mass. Sister of Karen MacPherson, Lona Murphy, Renie Rogers, Billy MacPherson, and the late Al MacPherson, Eileen Flood, and Carol MacPherson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation Friday, May 10, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery following the funeral mass. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
