Florence Esther ‘Faye’ (nee Farrell) Keeping

Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, ON on Friday, May 10, 2019 in her 88th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Keeping Jr.; her parents, Frederick and Florence Farrell (nee Hare), and her siblings, Zenith Caswell, Frederick Farrell Jr., Elizabeth (Betty) Bent and Milton Farrell.
Loving mother of Esta Dalziel (Steve), Zenith Keeping (Peter); cherished grandmother of Jillian Dalziel (Mitch Thompson) and Andrew Dalziel (Emma Chiasson); great-granddaughter, Harriet Thompson. Always remembered by her special niece, Bev Simmons and nephew, Abbey and wife Jeannie Keeping. Also, her other many nieces and nephews, and fellow dragon boaters.
Faye was a two-time breast cancer survivor, and an avid dragon boater in Cape Breton and Kingston, ON. She lived her final years and was lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff and caregivers at Providence Manor, Kingston, Ontario.
A service will be held at a later date in North Sydney, NS.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Providence Manor Retirement Home or St. Matthew-Wesley United Church North Sydney, NS.
