Audrey Fletcher MacDonald
Audrey Fletcher MacDonald, 95, passed away peacefully at home with her family on Friday May 3rd in Georgetown, Ontario.
Audrey was born in Sydney Nova Scotia, September 12, 1923. Loving daughter of Edward Andrews and Myrtle Andrews, (nee Chard).
Audrey lived in Georgetown, Ontario with her daughter, Sandra and husband, Yves Duquette. She was beloved mother to Doug MacDonald (wife Cheryl); daughters, Lee Alas (husband Pete) and Sandra Duquette (husband Yves).
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Melody MacDonald, Matthew Alas, Michael Alas, Michelle Duquette and Lexi Duquette. As well, she is survived by her brothers, Fred, Redmond, Ross and Valentine.
Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Neil Alexander MacDonald and her siblings, Max, Eddie, Gwen, & Wayne.
There will be a graveside service May 23rd at 2 p.m. at Forest Have Memorial Gardens, Old Rugged Cross.
Flowers will be accepted at the Sydney Memorial Chapel, 49 Welton St., Sydney, NS.
For those who wish, donations can be made to any branch of the Salvation Army in memory of Audrey MacDonald.
