Robert 'Bob' Curry
We regret to announce the passing of Robert ‘Bob’ Curry of Port Morien, NS at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on May 12, 2019.
Bob loved to play and watch hockey. He was a big Montreal Canadiens fan. Bob also played darts at the Port Morien Legion for many years and he enjoyed the Legion’s Monday night bingo game.
Bob is survived by his wife, Agnes (Kelloway) Curry; daughter, Michele (Randy); sons, Robert (Marlene) and Jonathan; four grandchildren; Justin (Taylor) and Brittany Gilliam, Makayla and Trent Curry; brothers, Joey (Phyllis), Michael (Wavey) and Kevin (Eunice); several nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Rupert and Mabel (MacDonald) Curry; brothers, Danny Curry and Fabian Curry and two sisters, Mary MacDonald and Jenny MacNeil.
We would like to thank Home Care and the staff at Harbourstone for being so great with our dad. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the wonderful care provide to our dad during his last hours of life.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating at T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199)
