Sarah Jane Boyd
We regret to announce the passing of our mother, Sarah Jane Boyd, aged 88, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on May 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Sadie (Jobes) Boyd. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her devoted and loving lifetime companion, Carl Boutilier.
Mom took great pride in the accomplishments of her six children, Janie (Paul) Vickers, Tom (Peg) Marsh, Alex (Odette), Ken (Leslie), Johnny (Brenda) and special grandchildren, Burgess Penny (Sherrisse) and Alana. Mom loved her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Mom was predeceased by her son, Russell (Ann)Marsh.,
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
