Anne Delores Paul

Born: April 12th, 1952

Passed on: June 2nd, 2019

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Anne Delores Paul, age 67, on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at home.
Anne was born April 12, 1952 in North Sydney.
After high school, Anne moved to Dartmouth to pursue her CNA certificate. Her love of nursing lead to a 45 year career, 37 of which she worked at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre. Anne loved the Centre and often spoke fondly of her time there. Anne’s personality was larger than life. She loved company and cooking for a large group of people. She had a passion for cleaning, Pepsi, Tim Hortons and a good feed of lobster. She never met a Giant Tiger she didn’t like or come out empty handed.
Anne is survived by her husband of 30 years, Glen Paul, Greenwood; son, Brad (Diane) Paul, Calgary; daughters, Lisa Paul, Harmony, Danielle Tremblay, Halifax, Karen (Kendall) Tobin, Edmonton; brothers, Jack Scott, North Sydney, Wayne (Ellen) Scott, North Sydney; sisters, Nancy Theriault, North Sydney, Brenda (David) Douglas, Bras d’Or; grandchildren, Logan, Tanner, Jayden, Jacob; many nieces and nephews; and many “grandcats”.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, John “Jack” and Frances (Skeard) Scott; son-in-law, Steve Belanger and nephew, Derek Paul.
Special thanks to Dr. Davidson and the surgery ward staff at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, Dr. Saxon and the medical ward staff at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton, Dr. Mulroy and the staff at the Victoria General Cancer Centre, the VON, Mid-Valley Palliative Care, Senior Homecare by Angels and the staff at the Greenwood Shoppers Drug Mart. We would also like to thank our friends for their amazing support through Anne’s illness.
A Celebration of Life followed by a reception will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98, Kingston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Apple Tree Foundation of Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre or to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. toll free 1-855-825-3448.
