Suddenly in Halifax, the passing of James Arthur Campbell of Lower Montague, occurred on Friday, May 31, 2019. Born in Alliston, October 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Clarence and Florence (Hayter) Campbell. James is survived by his loving daughter Janice (Paul) Murray; Marjorie (MacPhee) Campbell deceased, mother to Janice. Grandchildren, Evan (Denise), Kristen; brothers and sisters Barbara Fraser, Florence Carver, Bertha (Bill) Dixon, Lester (Louise) Campbell, Charlie (Barbara) Campbell, Carl Campbell; sister-in-law Kathryn Campbell; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Garnet, Glen, Sterling; sister Irene Collings and brothers-in-law John Fraser, Edison Collings and Otis Carver. He will be greatly missed by the family dog Zoe. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, June 10th from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 11th at 11 am.
