The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019 of Jemima Stewart Gerrand (Caskie) of Clinton and formerly of Motherwell, Scotland, aged 93 years. Jemima was born in Scotland to the late David and Sarah Jane (Easton) Caskie. Beloved wife of the late John Gerrand and loving mother of Moria (Karl) Tuplin, Yvonne (David) Pearson, Christine (Cecil) Scott and Jackilynne (Andrew) Boyd. Also lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sister Bill Caskie, Margaret Adamson and David Caskie. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, June 17th, 2019, where a Celebration of Life will be held in Summerside Baptist Church “Ellis Room” from 2 - 5 p.m. Memorial donations in Jemima’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
