It is with profound sadness that the family of Pauline Murray announces her passing, on Friday, June 21 at Westford Nursing Home in Port Elgin, NB. Born on March 29, 1932 in Corn Hill, Kings Co., NB, she was a daughter of Hilleard and Margaret (Coates) Branscombe. Pauline enjoyed life, made many friends along the way and was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother. She spent many happy hours sewing, knitting and baking and she loved to drive her car. She enjoyed her many years working at Nortel in Amherst, always taking pride in any of the work she did. She was a terrific bowler, winning numerous awards over the years as a member of several area bowling leagues. She was a member of Trinity United Church in Port Elgin, the United Church Women, the Telephone Pioneers of America and a director of the East Westmorland Senior Citizens Club. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Warren, in 1998 and by siblings Myrtle, Evelyn, Gladys, Everett, Earl, Arnold and Florence. She is survived by one brother Ivan and sisters, Luetta, Grace, Margaret and Lottie; children Eric (Evelyn) and Cara Dawn (Nick Fiorante) Murray and Joan (John) LeBlanc; precious grandchildren Sean and Chris (Annie) Murray, Nicole and Adriana Fiorante, Brandon LeBlanc and Marcie (Alan) Hayman and Brianne (David) Marcoux and by great-grandchildren Jaidyn, Liam and Declan Murray; Kieran and Colby LeBlanc, Rohan and Piersen Hayman and Alexandre Marcoux and by her loving companion, Bud Allen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, (506-364-1300) where cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 3 pm at Trinity United Church, Wayne Jarvis, DLM officiating, with reception and family visitation immediately after, followed by interment in Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The family extends much thanks and appreciation to the staff of Westford Nursing Home for their dedication and loving care of our mother.
