With a heavy heart we announce the passing of David Carmody on June 20, 2019, after a very brief serious illness. Leaving to mourn include his wife, Diane (Strachan). Born on May 25, 1953, he was the son of the late Earl “Bud” Carmody and Velma Carmody-MacDonald (nee Gibson).David couldn’t have been prouder as father to Danny and Lisa (Shawn) Doiron and stepfather to Jill Cardillo (John Skehill), Ross Cardillo, and Cory Cardillo. Grampie to Reese Carmody; Gabe & Kieran Doiron; Angelina, John and Shae Skehill.Leaving to mourn are siblings Debra (Glen) Kelly, Jim (Val), Lloyd, Brian (Heather) and Andy (Wendy). Mother-in-law Diane Doucette, sisters-in-law Deborah (Stephen, deceased) Frangioso, Donna (James) Travers and brother-in-law Scott (Lori) Strachan.Will be dearly missed by longtime colleague and family friend Lori Visser as well as many nieces and nephews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday 4-7pm.
