Peacefully and surrounded by his family, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Sunday, June 23, 2019, of Brian Young, of Cornwall, aged 69. Brian was the beloved husband of Alice Young (nee Garvie); and loving father of Patrick (Melanie Clory), Paul (Erika Gavin) and Julie Spurvey (Mike). He will be dearly missed by grandchildren, Riley, Keagan, Brielle, Mila, Hunter and Mason. Brian is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Mary Jane) and Richard (Anne Marie); sister, Betty Young (Al); brothers-and-sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Hollie and Elizabeth Young (nee Crandlemire); sister, Elsie Mather; and brother, David. Resting at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Cornwall for visitation on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Martin of Tours and St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland.
