Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, the passing of Roma B. MacNeill age 94, devoted wife of the late Wilbert MacNeill, occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019 with family by her side. Born December 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Howard Weston and Christina Florence (Stewart) Bell. Roma is survived by her children, Ronald (Barbara) MacNeill, Marlene (Kenneth Devoe) MacNeill; grandchildren Susan (Tyson) Bradley, Laura (Tupper) Harris; great grandchildren Hudson, Autumn, Brielle, Spencer Bradley, Tamara, Livia and Jazlin Harris. Predeceased by sisters, Esther (Norman) Thompson, Thelma (Bill) Way and Dorothy (Ian) Holmes. Resting at Well Spring Presbyterian Church on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Following the visiting, the Funeral Service will be held in the Church at 4:30 pm. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
