The death occurred on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in her 90th year of Marion Thelma (Andrews) Vessey of The Mount Continuing Care Facility and formerly of York. Born in Charlottetown, she was the daughter of the late John Leonard and Myrtle Andrews and was the devoted wife of the late William Stuart Vessey. She is survived by her six loving children and their spouses; Keir (Collette), Wayne (Paula), Amy (Harry) Beaton, Laurie Tuckett (Calvin Robertson), Robert (Tracey) and Ellen (Doug) McMonagle, her grandchildren; Erin Vessey, Cearagh Vessey, Jarrod (Bethany) Vessey, Yolande (Pat) McGeoghegan, Brett (Leanne) Vessey, Tamara Vessey, Melissa (Nick) Farquharson, Evan (Ashley) Beaton, Jenelle Beaton, Kristen Tuckett, Jason Tuckett, Marc Thibodeau, Danica Vessey, Alex McMonagle, Jordan McMonagle and Patrick McMonagle; and fifteen great grandchildren. Marion also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Vivian (Louis, deceased) Howatt, Hazel Hayashi, Betty Booker, Jean (Ron) Johnson, Linda (Wayne) Shaw and brother George (Mary) Andrews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother John Leonard “Jack” Andrews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 5-8 pm.
