Captain Percy “Royal” White
The death occurred on June 25, 2019 at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, in his 104th year, of Captain Percy “Royal” White formerly of Murray River. Captain Royal White was born in Murray Harbour. Survived by son Blair (Joyce) White and daughter Shirley (David, deceased) Mosher. Also, survived by grandchildren Wade, Scott (Suzanne) White; Shelley (David) Morrison, Tanya (Sean) Gilchrest, Tracie (Dale) Hardy; James Mosher, and Krista Power; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Survived by sister-in-law Emily (Martin) White, Kaye (Porter) Cantwell and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Edna (Porter) White; parents Percy James and Henrietta (Beaton) White; son Everett White; brothers Lewis, Garnet and Harold. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River. No visitation by family request. Interment in Murray River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Royal’s memory to Perrin’s Marina Villa, Montague or Beach Grove Home, Meadow Unit, Charlottetown.
